The Law Library is located inside the Supreme Court Building courthouse at 237 Don Gaspar Avenue, Santa Fe, NM, alongside the Santa Fe River on the corner of Don Gaspar and Alameda. While there are some parking meter spaces near the building, most parking is reserved. However, there is free parking available a block away from the building at the State Capitol Parking Facility. The public parking garage is located across from the Roundhouse on the corner of Paseo de Peralta and Galisteo. The following link provides a map showing where the parking garage is located and a walking route from the garage to the Supreme Court Law Library. When you arrive at the Court, please enter through the large, double brass doors at the front of the building. Accessible parking is available at the South Entrance of the building on East De Vargas.
Holiday Schedule, Closures, and Delays
When the Court is closed due to inclement weather, the public will be notified through local news outlets announcing delays or closures for the “Supreme Court Building” or “NM Supreme Court Building”. Notice of other pre-planned closures will be posted on the website and in the public locations around the building.

New Year’s Day 2026 will be observed on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
MLK Jr. Day will be observed on Monday, January 19, 2026.
Presidents’ Day will be observed on Friday, November 27, 2026.
Memorial Day will be observed on Monday, May 25, 2026.
Juneteenth will be observed on Friday, June 19, 2026.
Independence Day will be observed on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Labor Day will be observed on Monday, September 7, 2026.
Indigenous Peoples’ Day will be observed on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Veterans Day will be observed on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.
Thanksgiving Day will be observed on Thursday, November 26, 2026.
Christmas Day will be observed on Friday, December 25, 2026.
New Year’s Day 2027 will be observed on Friday, January 1, 2027.
